The official notification for GATE 2024 will come out in July 2023 on the
website gate.iisc.ac.in. In September, you can register online for the exam if
you meet the eligibility criteria. The exam will take place in February 2024

What is GATE EXAM?
The GATE
exam is a national-level test held in India for students who want to pursue

Before
starting the application process, candidates must ensure that they meet the

GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria for International Students
International
students from countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Ethiopia,
and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are eligible to appear for GATE 2024. These
students must have either completed their bachelor's degree in engineering and
technology or be in the final year or pre-final year of their studies.
GATE 2024 Exam Pattern
The GATE
2024 exam will be conducted as a fully Computer Based Test (CBT) with a total
of 29 subject papers. The exam pattern will consist of objective-type
questions, including Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select
Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Candidates have
the option to choose and appear in one or a maximum of two subject papers from
the provided combinations. The final allotment of two papers will depend on
availability. There is no age limit for appearing in the GATE 2024 examination.

The
registration for GATE 2024 will open in August 2023, and interested candidates

GATE 2024 Admit Card
Registered
candidates for GATE 2024 will be able to download their admit cards in January.
The admit card can be accessed through the official GATE website using the
candidate's enrollment ID and password. It is important to carefully check the

discrepancies. On the day of the exam, candidates must carry their admit card
along with a valid photo ID proof. Accepted photo IDs include Voter ID,

GATE 2024 Answer Key
The GATE
