Whereas GRE is a computer based and written exam. The computer based exam records all the answers and the scores are based on the number of correct answers to the questions. The answers which include reasoning are section level adaptive. It means that the computer only selects the second section answers based on the performance in the first section. In each of the two measures, the number of correct answers is computed. It is also known as raw score. In the paper based also the raw score is computed.
